个人简介
徐勇，博士，百人计划副教授。2012年于香港中文大学（QS国际排名前100）地理与资源管理学系获博士学位。2012年起，先后于香港中文大学、美国普渡大学从事研究工作，并担任研究员职位。主持并参与多个香港政府RGC资助项目、美国NASA资助项目及国家自然科学基金NSFC资助项目。研究兴趣主要包括遥感、地理信息、空间分析及空间对地观测技术在城市规划中的应用等。曾获得国际IEEE电子电器工程师协会国际大奖。作为世界城市数据库和访问门户工具(WUDAPT)的主要参与人，联合德国、法国、美国、英国、奥地利等单位合作开发国际气候数据产品(www.wudapt.org/)获欧盟委员会下的对地观测组织和世界气象组织采用。近年来，多次应邀参加重大国际学术会议并做专题报告，包括国际城市气候大会(ICUC)、国际地球科学与遥感大会(IEEE IGARSS) 、国际联合城市遥感会议(JURSE)等。同时，作为国际电工委员会智慧城市分会(ISO/IEC Smart Cities)成员，积极推进城市信息模型的国际标准化工作。近五年发表著作30余项，其中包括SCI论文30余篇、发明专利三项(一项美国专利)。
